Regarding where to do a safe eBay exchange, there are several cities in the SF Bay Area that have set up safe zones in the parking lot of their local Police Departments. This makes it less likely that anyone will attempt anything funky knowing the police are near, and these parking lots are generally covered by cameras. If there isn’t one in your area get your PD to set one up, all it takes is a sign, a little paint, and some social media exposure.
